  • Student Presentations Our young leaders give weekly presentations on "Presentation Friday"!  They are preparing now for successful futures.
  • Guest Speakers Our leaders learn from real business and community leaders on a bimonthly basis.  Click on "Guest Speakers for previous and future guest speakers". Â
  • Community Involvement Our leaders learn about community concerns and have visited Operation Push, City Council meetings, the alderman's office and community meetings.
  • Hands on Learning Our leaders do a variety of projects which require them to use their knowledge on various topics.

Summer Smart Art Camp PDF Print E-mail

 

 This summer give your young leader an exceptional experience with our camp!  Our nine week program focuses on academic skills through fun, hands-on projects and frequent field trips.  There will be one hour a day in reading/writing, math, and science/social studies instruction. Students will also receive individualized tutoring in areas of need.  Leaders will express themselves through various types of art including using Photoshop, drama, photography, public speaking, crafts, web design and much more!  Our day will begin at 9 am and will end at 3pm.  Before and after care is also available and all campers will receive free breakfast and lunch.  The cost is $125 per week and may be free for parents who qualify for Action for Children.  Please contact Alisa Scott at (773) 443-5323 for more information or email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
