  • Student Presentations Our young leaders give weekly presentations on "Presentation Friday"!  They are preparing now for successful futures.
  • Guest Speakers Our leaders learn from real business and community leaders on a bimonthly basis.  Click on "Guest Speakers for previous and future guest speakers". Â
  • Community Involvement Our leaders learn about community concerns and have visited Operation Push, a City Council meeting, and the Black Wall street economic summit.
  • Hands on Learning Our leaders do a variety of projects which require them to use their knowledge on various topics.

 Our leaders are learning what real writers do, they get published!  Students will be turning their black history reports into biographical poems which will be put together to form a black history book by kids for kids!  They will also decide on the title, design the cover in Photoshop, and will make their own illustrations.  Once the book has been created and printed, students will have a book signing at a book store and will learn about distribution and selling the book.  Stay tuned as the book will be made available through our website soon!
