  • Student Presentations Our young leaders give weekly presentations on "Presentation Friday"!  They are preparing now for successful futures.
  • Guest Speakers Our leaders learn from real business and community leaders on a bimonthly basis.  Click on "Guest Speakers for previous and future guest speakers". Â
  • Community Involvement Our leaders learn about community concerns and have visited Operation Push, a City Council meeting, and the Black Wall street economic summit.
  • Hands on Learning Our leaders do a variety of projects which require them to use their knowledge on various topics.

Our Senators are enjoying learning center time.  During reading they visit either the "Cool Comprehension Center", "Wonderful Words Center" (vocabulary),  "Fabulous Fluency Center", or the "Extended Response Center".  Leaders are allowed to learn skills on their level in a fun way! 

Math time is another time for differentiated instruction as students take part in their PACE groups.  Students practice either addition, subtraction, multiplication or division with students at the same level.   Our leaders are excited when we sing "well we're movin on up"  when a student moves to the next level.
