  • Student Presentations Our young leaders give weekly presentations on "Presentation Friday"!  They are preparing now for successful futures.
  • Guest Speakers Our leaders learn from real business and community leaders on a bimonthly basis.  Click on "Guest Speakers for previous and future guest speakers". Â
  • Community Involvement Our leaders learn about community concerns and have visited Operation Push, a City Council meeting, and the Black Wall street economic summit.
  • Hands on Learning Our leaders do a variety of projects which require them to use their knowledge on various topics.

We had a fabulous time with the amazing Carol Mosley Braun.  Ambassador Braun is a former candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. She has served her country as Ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa, United States Senator from Illinois, Cook County Executive Officer, Illinois State Representative and United States Attorney.  She is the first African American female senator and the first female senator from Illinois. The little ladies who attended were dressed to impress and had fun drinking Ambassador Braun's tea, dressing up, making new friends and spending time with their mothers.
