Student Presentations Our young leaders give weekly presentations on "Presentation Friday"! They are preparing now for successful futures. -
Guest Speakers Our leaders learn from real business and community leaders on a bimonthly basis. Click on "Guest Speakers for previous and future guest speakers".  -
Community Involvement Our leaders learn about community concerns and have visited Operation Push, a City Council meeting, and the Black Wall street economic summit. -
Hands on Learning Our leaders do a variety of projects which require them to use their knowledge on various topics. -

              1. Small class sizes of no more than 10 students, which is dramatically lower than many private schools and most Chicago Public Schools!  2.  Recognized by the State of Illinois. 3. Hands-on and authentic lessons and projects that empower students to become independent learners. We consider our curriculum to be a modern form of Montessori!                               Our indoor atrium where leaders can plant flowers and meditate!  4. Leaders host a morning chapel for 30 minutes each day and give weekly presentations. 5. Biweekly guest speakers and field trips that illuminate knowledge that is learned in school. 6. Individualized learning plans including differentiated instruction for every subject. 7. Use of Smartboard technology and full computer lab with with one computer for each student! Students learn how to type, how to create presentations using Power Point and how to use the internet for research.Â9. Key elements of the core subjects include students reading classic novels for reading, writing and publishing stories for writing, learning about current economics and politics for social studies, conducting real scientific projects that are based upon student's individual interests and much more! 10. All students learn about having a bank account, entrepreneurship, managing credit, as well as investing in the stock market. 11. Students learn self discipline, teamwork, respect for themselves and others as well as proper speaking and etiquette skills. 12. Leaders also learn art, meditation, photography, dance and exercise. Â
